This book will revolutionize the way we pay taxes. The beauty of the VTax is that it eliminates all Federal taxes on working middle class Americans. The simplicity and fairness of the VTax will bring trust and integrity back to the political arena. The VTax is true tax reform with an added bonus; it gives the middle class tremendous (deservedly so) economic savings. I have come to believe that this is the book's crowning achievement. Does it sound too good to be true? When a system is slowly corrupted over generations, it seems normal; but propose a fair and just system and it seems outrageous.  I will now sum up the entire book! Money is constantly moving throughout our economy, called transactions. The number of annual transactions is measured as economic velocity. The VTax system taxes the movement (velocity) of money. Every time five dollars moves from one place to another place one penny is sent to the Federal Government. Taxing velocity at just one-fifth of one percent (one penny per five dollars) will raise an astounding 1.4 Trillion dollars per year (as of 2008). This simple concept will replace all Federal taxes on fifty percent of present taxpayers and fund fifty to sixty percent of the Federal budget.
